Plaster Sculpture – Spirit Rock

• I wanted to document the process of wax casting from a thrown vase, and carving in plaster as well as casting a base of rocks, and finishing with a variety of spray paints.  The work is almost there – it needs its centre, which will be a small stainless steal ball that represents the dan then, the spiritual centre, and the blue flames are eternal burning and ethereal nature of the soul, grounded firmly in the earth.
