Hi Heidi, I’m a friend of your sister’s, she mentioned your art display to me, and my kids & I went to see it on Tuesday morning. Thank you for posting the video, it helped me understand the work better. (Though having worked a wheel for a short while in high school, I already appreciated the amount of work that went into those 100 3D paisleys – whew !). I picked up one of your cards at the entrance desk – thought you might like to know they are being displayed.

Heidi McKenzie is an emerging ceramic artist currently enrolled in the second year of the Sheridan Advanced Diploma in Crafts and Design Ceramics Program. In 2009, Heidi rekindled her childhood passion for clay and at mid-life embarked on a three-month residency at the foothills of the Himalayas in India with Mansimran Singh, student of iconic British potter, Bernard Leach. In the spring of 2010, Heidi left behind her arts consultancy practice and fully committed to her new life path as an artist.
