Interior Design Show – Maru Makes the Cut

Proud to trumpet the fact that a couple of my maru (circle) sculptures were selected by the heads of the Crafts & Design departments to accompany the OUTSTANDING work of the Furniture studio students’ Sheridan display booth at this year’s Interior Design Show at the Metro Convention Centre. Clay has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
Growing up in the Maritimes, my family spent many summers camping, and I spent many hours begging to stop to see one more artists clay studios. I still have a collection of 10 miniature pots that I collected from the ages of 5 to 12. Life has a way of unfolding in its own time, and it took me thirty years to realize that clay was my ultimate calling.
